1. Karunashram volunteers must be above 18 years of age.
   
   
2. Karunashram volunteers are required to enroll as members of Karunashram as per the choice of membership sought. Please refer, membership form for type of membership
   
   
3. Karunashram volunteers must undergo training for the period stipulated by Karunashram before assuming roles and responsibilities
   
   
4. Karunashram volunteers must carry their identity cards to work
   
   
5. Karunashram volunteers must follow a strict code of discipline while representing Karunashram.
   
   
6. Karunashram volunteers must clearly state and adhere to their commitment of time and responsibilities.
   
   
7. Karunashram field volunteers must not provoke quarrels and violence in the case of sighting animal cruelty. All volunteers are requested to negotiate peaceful settlements.
   
   
8. Karunashram fund raisers must not misuse funds collected and are liable for prosecution in such a case . Guidelines for fundraising will be explained to all fundraisers and must be followed strictly.

Karunashram assumes that volunteers have sought permission from parents before joining .We reserve the rights to contact a volunteer’s parent to confirm permission for joining. Thereafter Karunashram is not responsible for any action of the volunteer that is damaging or not in keeping with the spirit of the organization
